The picture on the front of that albumn was taken in Jonesboro Georgia in front of the old railroad station. Jonesboro was the where the mythical town of Tara in gone with the wind was supposed to be.

Jonesboro is where Tara was located in the movie, but much of the storyline is based on the true evens of Barnsley Gardens. It was a Civil War era plantation and mansion located between Adairsville and Kingston. The ruins are still there and the property is now a high end resort and golf course. There was a minor skirmish there during Sherman's march to the sea.

The place is literally in the middle of nowhere. Lots of locals don't even know it's there.

Pics of the ruins

The resort.

Rode by it hundreds of times while living up that way below Summerville. Cousin leased the hunting rights there for years until they figured out a way to turn it into a resort.

Strictly subjective but what a decade of music.
