Left the biggest tip I've ever left today. Walked by a barbershop and 4-5 mexican fellas were hanging out front. The shop was cleared out on this sunny afternoon and I needed my wings clipped so on the way back by I poked my head in the door. One of the mexicans asked if I had an appointment. LOL
One of the dudes says he'll do it. He's all bidness asking me chit I aint got no clue about. Fade this. Layer that.
3 on the side about an inch and a half on top is all I know to tell him.
Started chatting him up. 19 years old! Commutes from Willows every day! (45 min)
He got out the straight razor and I quit talking. LOL
Said he's been cutting hair for 8 years!
Sure beat listening to the last gal talking about doing coke with her boyfriend all weekend.
You don't find too many go getters like that anymore and I made sure to tell him loud enough his buddies could hear me.
You guys leave big tips?
And yeah, getting my hairs cut is big doings around here! LOL

I got my truck detailed yesterday. Guy did an outstanding job, my truck hadn't been washed since last summer and was yellow with the caked on dirt. The floor mats and back of seats were covered with mud.
Gave him 50% tip. He got it showroom floor shining like new money again.

Gave the dealer delivery guy a $50 bill when he dropped off a 4-wheeler this afternoon.
I'm starting to look like a bum, could use a haircut.

Our local vet squeezed us in on the evening before Thanksgiving for an emergency visit. And then they sat and waited until about 7PM for the drugs to wear off on our dog so we could take her home.
They got a mega-tip which is used for the shelter/volunteer side of their work.

Puerto Rican dude cuts me and the son’s hair. Only one whitey left out of four chairs now.
$15 is board price, but always give him a $20 for each of us. Takes him 30min to do both of us.
Nothing spectacular in the least. I wear a hat anytime I’m not sleeping so WGAF.

Good barber shops are key.
Back in Tacompton, my spot was a little shop where a kid and his dad cut hair. Tiny. About the size of a master bath in an average home.
Pops was old, he’d trim one side burn and not the other, maybe an eyebrow….lol. I didn’t care.
The kid was on it. He had a sweet mid 90’s NSX. Talk cars, golf, beer….whatever. Gave both my kids haircuts until we moved.
Ain’t found a place here yet. Took the dog clippers to my head a while back.
