Meanwhile, our silicon Valley enemies who own alphabet, Facebook, insta, etc. are suppressing voices, stealing personal information, go along with authoritarian lockdowns, etc.

i don't do TicToc. However I don't see how they're any more dangerous than YouTube. My grandson and all his friends watch it. He's showed me videos and I don't see anything wrong with them. I sometimes watch YouTube but usually on DuckDuckGo. Mostly historical videos like WWII and machining videos. I quit F-book years ago because I couldn't measure up to their "community standards" whatever they were. Never was on Twitter until musk took it over. I cannot understand why congress is hell bent on destroying TicToc and leave F-book alone. Zusukerberg is evil.

And I think that something has to be done with Facebook. And one thing I will say, I don’t want Facebook to get bigger because I think Facebook is an equal threat. And that includes with China. Because if China wants to know anything about what Facebook knows, they’re going to give them the information.

Trump is correct of course. But Americans always expect someone else to do something about a problem, with no pain to them of course.

Start a post on Zuckerberg on CF and it's flooded with "I'd smash that Fug'r in the mouth!!" stuff. Yet, many of those same people have Facebook accounts, their wives, their children, etc. Same reason Bud Lite stock is doing just fine.

Now the enemy is inside the wire, we be too fat and lazy to expend the little effort it would take. I mean like closing Facebook account would be the worst thing ever, right? And TikTok? It'll never be squelched. Chits is like herpes. Billions and Billons of hours of productivity lost because of Facebook and TikTok. Commies beat our ass bad.
