I don't blame the young folks for being sore about paying into a system that is on the edge of collapse.

How's this for a discussion point?:

The average Social Security payment is $1,666.49/month before income tax. That's $19,998/year that they paid in years ago.

The average family has ~2kids and receives tax breaks in the form of deductions and credits of $9,910/child, or $19,820, on the back of the system.

Tell me again about young folks being sore...
.Gov musta did some changes we got 2 kids and didn’t hardly get schit back this yr
That's all based on income and how many kids you have. I know people who make 30k a year and get 10k back in earned income credit at tax time. Which is like 3-4 times more than they ever paid in.

There was a thread here about 5-6 years ago- a California resident address that ?$350K-$450? per year went through that one address. Hispanics claiming dependents back in Mehico- 'I got fourteen youngins down there'. Get back $20-30K every year which doubles their grass-mowing income. The IRS is still sending big bucks to that address every year.

I believe that with every fiber of my being.

May agree with that, but answer this; who raised the "losers"?

Well, that is certainly a valid point, Boomers did raise a bunch of losers...

And the losers raised the millennials ?

Reading comprehension failure alert...you must not be a Boomer

Guess I need help then. The millennials didn't have parents? Who raised them?

Each generation is a reflection ( product) of the previous one, no?
Is the current generation not responsible for raising, educating the next.?
So if what you say is true then I'll ask you again like I did yesterday. If the boomers are a generation of loosers and takers then who is responsible for bringing them up with those values?

Values lol that's funny. But since you asked it's their parents that spoiled them and gave them all they could. That set the mentality of everyone caters to them and it's still true. Nice attempt at bait thinking no one would go after the "greatest generation" they won WW2 sure, but they gave us the generation of greedy whiners we have now in the boomers.

What boomers did to succeed back in the day wasn't hard, that same strategy and work would leave you homeless these days. Y'all had everything handed to you and instead of doing the same for the next gen you said eff them. All patting each other on the back saying how tough you had it. BTW it's still boomers calling the shots in Congress, that's your legacy. Trying to blame it on the generation(s) you raised is a cop out.
And you wonder why your kids don't call or visit. Shameful.

I know he’s fulla shat, but remember Biden saying during SOTU he wanted to cap prescription costs to $200/month? That made me wonder if people that don’t use monthly prescriptions have to pay somehow? Feckless fugks!
