I have a Wright & McGill Model Grainger Aristocrat bamboo fly rod that I am considering selling and I'm wondering what a fair asking price would be. It is a three piece and appears as if it once had two tips/top sections because there are 4 slots in the cloth sleeve. It is in really good condition. Finish/clearcoat is good, guides intact, cork intact. Slips inside of an aluminum rod tube. Any help appreciated.

Thanks.

Check e-bays completed listings. Granger rods can be worth $100 to $1000 + depending on era, cond ect. Aristocrat is a higher end model but the missing tip will hurt it. If it were me I'd keep it. You may regret selling it at some point. If it's fishable use it you may fall in love with it. I've been bitten by the bamboo bug myself. It's an aweful sickness but I don't want to be cured.
