This guy has some interesting videos of hikes he takes somewhere in the southwest. Most of them are 20-25 minutes, but this one is 13.

In this one he finds petroglyphs, graffiti from the 1890's, and two circular stone structures on top of a ridge. Pretty scenery.

Did anyone ever think that petroglyphs were nothing more than Native American teenage delinquents spray painting rocks just like in today's world? And did their parents tell them if they didn't straighten up and get a job they wouldn't amount to [bleep]?

I have always found this kind of stuff fascinating.
Visited only a few, but I have a hankering to see stuff like Deer Medicine Rocks in Montana and the Medicine Wheel in think in Michigan or Minnesota.
Thanks for passing it along!

I've watched many of his vid's.....even contacting him

Notice that he does not give exact locations.....SW USA....

He is good at finding locations...by Google Earth for example

He is a back packing guide in Yellowstone/Teton's area

My particular Utah location has many pictograph/petroglyph panels..betting he has hiked locally

I'd even venture to say some still undiscovered in the untraveled canyons

What I've observed...main characters depicted ?

Desert Sheep....antlered game....snakes....alien type figures...people from tribe....etc

Some estimated to be 1000's of years old

My observations also....natives favored south facing canyon walls/alcoves to create these panels & live

Pics....locally

Very cool, he did a great job of not showing any landmarks, I’m going to guess he had a Swell time.

I’ve been exploring SE Utah for many years. There are incredible things to see if you get out and look.
