Health and age is a blessing, but sometimes an easy step can produce a big gain.
Same regimen, here, plus C. Haven't had even a sniffle since January 2020.

The hot toddy hit like the proverbial ton of. Empty stomach and all. Actually feeling better than I did 24 hours ago. Thinking that zinc really does help to shorten the symptoms.

Gonna take the old advice that a pillow is a man's best medicine.

See you folks tomorrow. And thanks for all the good wishes and suggestions.

Yup. Sleep it off. Don’t forget to stay well-irrigated; getting dehydrated will do you in. I had no appetite, nothing tasted right, but was thirsty all the time.

Be better.

Seems to work on colds too for me anyway.mb

Same experience here. The "common cold" has been known to be a type of corona virus since the 1960's. A major reason for big pharma to NOT want a wide spectrum, low cost, OTC cure for Covid. Can you imagine the economic impact to for-profit commercial healthcare and to big pharma if the majority of sheeple figured out there really WAS a cure for the common cold?

Pre-Covid, went to the DR for cold/flu/sinus issues at least once or twice per year. Last time I was at the DR for a cold/sinus issue was Nov 2020... Now, when symptoms start, just start the IVM.

At least you admit you're not very smart.
Rifleman, you are one weak sister on this site - and you misquote like it's congenital for you. Here you are on a "get well wish" thread showing your ignorance due to your extreme thirst for attention. With regard to smart - how does it feel to be reminded that 99.9% of the folks on this site are smarter than you, and 100% are more likeable.?

Got little left but a sense of humor. But the zinc in Zicam and Cold-Eze does seem to be helping. The chicken noodle soup was great, and in a little while I'll be making a hot toddy with Bushmills in honor of that Irish guy.

Gonna screenshot and save this.
It'll come in useful eventually!

To the OP,
I take a silver daily vitamin, don't know if it does a thing.
Used to do the Cold Eez type stuff, with good results.

Now, if anyone in the house starts getting sick, we all do the D3, C, Zinc routine.
It seems to work, well. Quick recovery for the sick, the others usually avoid it.
Except covid in the fall of 2022. We mostly all got it. The sickness was mild.
Doc and I both though it was a sinus infection, it was covid with a high viral load.
Got better quick.
The fog, and shortness of breath was a PITA that lasted several months.

The pollen in Austin. It is Spring here and all plants and trees are budding.
My head feels like it's in a vice. My eyes were like I put jalepeno juice in them.
My nose was like snorting cayenne pepper. Worst I ever seen.
Get Well soon.

Hey Covey (sorry forgot your call sign) if I could I would scramble a Brightlight to find and fix this crud.
Anyway, it sounds as if exfil birds are on the way and you will be shut of this in the near future. The Bushmills and soup and sleep should do the trick.

Get well brother.

You must be in the funk...
Starship reached orbit and we herd crickets....

But I guess that makes sense if there is no atmosphere in orbit....
Is the lowest orbit above the end of the atmosphere?

What is the ASTM method for that last test?
Make sure they didn't run the one for cannibalistic pygmies and steroid users....

LOL...

Humor is the best Rx.

If you are not actively engaging EVERY enemy you encounter... you are allowing another to fight for you... and that is cowardice... plain and simple.
