Thanks Sabertooth, I already have them downloaded to Postimage it was really easy, now I have to figure out how to get the pix to post to the Forum. I have the IMG #'s posted but the pictures never posted. As you can tell I'm not a rocket scientest, but I was a brain suregon, just don't have to many patients left.
I don't know how you're getting into "image #'s" unless you're not assigning names to your pics and are using the auto-generated numbers your camera provides ?
One of the keys to doing the "image thing" is to get in the habit of naming your pics and putting them in a place where they can easily be found.
Create folders like "Shooting Pics" "BBQ Pics" "Hunting Pics" etc and put related images in those folders.
So back to Post Images (offsite image hosting website).
1) You don't have to register although you can
2) If your images are still giant image files (could be why they didn't post) then choose to
resize > choose 800x600
3)
Choose Images and this is where you need to know where your pic is on your computer.
4) Highlight and copy the correct image code from the list that Post Images spits out after the download.
5) Paste that Image Code in your post on 24HCF
Here are some screenshots of what you will see at Post Images :
This is where you make your resize request and then tell PI to bring up your photos so you can choose one
This is what you see after your image is downloaded to PI :
Some will choose one of the forum links, I choose "Direct Link" but you have to frame it in the forum like this :
This will put a full size pic in your post and not a thumbnail.
Choosing "Hotlink for forums" may do the same thing, I have not tried it.
