The Eden Chronicles by S.M. Anderson.
Not a step by step how to series. Rather a sci-fi take written by a guy whose take on things I like.
I have dipped my toe in the water a number of times trying different authors in this genre (post apocalyptic fiction) and just always hang it up. Either it’s too gun centric and they fûck everything else up, or they are gun retarded and I can’t ignore it and skip over. Or they’re racist, or trying so hard not to be racist it’s even worse.
1 second after series started out well. Or so much I. The follow up.
There is one series that does pretty well if I can find it in my kindle I’ll post it later.

Good guys get banged up. Written based on geography of southern Michigan. Not professional quality writing but I enjoyed writing them. I will download them tonight. The guys backpack had to weigh 200 lbs, LOL. And the hoky old Sarge Military vet was a bit much Still... Pretty well written. Good story line, and the writer knows his guns and equipment Going Home on Amazon
