No, KC Ray is new and doesn’t have pm privileges yet.
He’ll have to provide some contact info or you will.

KC Ray, contact me at davesavagepistols.com for parts and possible help with that issue. 90% of the time it is because someone in the past tried to “fix” that squishy trigger pull.

Longbeard. Yep. Don't know why I didn't think of that. I bought the gun, because that's what my great grandfather bought when he immigrated. He and my grandfather and dad kept it in the tool box on the farm. Mostly for butchering. My brother will get that one when my dad passes, so I had to get this one when I saw it. I need at least one original "cheese grater" magazine for my Savage 23c in .32-20. It's the same magazine for the 23B. Does anyone have one for sale or know of a source?

Are you wanting an original T rear sight (not cheap) or just a period correct one... with elevator?

What year is your rifle?

Ideally original to the T. I know it will be costly but so far I have not found one for sale. I would like to at least put a period correct sight (with elevator)on asap. Rifle built in 1939.

I would also add the rifle is not in pristine condition or anywhere near. It does have a Lyman tang sight and has not been D/T for scope.

I may have located a period correct sight from a local Savage enthusiast. Will post results.

I'm looking for a Stith 3/4 rear ring!, thought I had all the parts, but missing the 3/4 rear ring. I can buy or trade a 7/8 ring, or maybe the tube dove tail part. Thanks John

I'm in need of a hammer retractor spring for a 1895 bolt . I suspect an early 1899 might work.
Thank you , Tom

His staples are awesome. I would suggest talking him into making you an install tool as well 😉
