Back from recent camp trip

Gotta before Easter weekend

Two remote camp set ups were completely isolated

Recent storms dumped 2+ feet of snow on mountains

Lower elevation rains was welcome to the desert floor

Desert flowers will go crazy in May

Weather was near perfect....28* low & 55* high

Matt's Offroad Recovery has a bunch of Youtube videos about taking roads less traveled.

Hiked into this normally dry wash

Water still slightly running from recent storms

No place to be in August or September

Sheer walls are 7-800' high

Whenever we have flown over Utah, I’m glued to the window looking for places like that. But from 35k feet it’s hard to tell where you are at.

Desert floor @ 6400' unusually soft/moist from wet winter

Sometime soon we’ll get back there. Looking for a Moab experience without the “Moab”.

I just drove through Utah on my way home from Texas and New Mexico. I was transiting rather than touring but sure enjoyed the scenery. I especially like the area south of Moab.

Thanks for the pictures!
