Ordered three bag of dog food... with delivery to my home in Virginia...

FEDEX tracking shows... someone in Pearland, Texas got them instead.

Gotta love FedEx...

FedEx actually delivered a Chewy order here today, only one day late which is pretty standard for them.

We get a bunch of deliveries and UPS is generally on time, say 90% or better.

FedEx on the other hand is a 50/50 chance of having a delay.

Right now I have another ammo order that is delayed. And I get this a lot, barcode unreadable, shipment delayed.... But they've always come through even if late so I can't complain.

I had a bullet mold delivered 5 hours away from me yet it had my address on it. Never heard anything when I filed a claim. You can't reach a fuggin' hooman there to tell them your story.

Sam, our FedEx dude does a pretty good job..............when the schiedt gets to the town in OR it goes to for delivery here. I think they truck it to our town in a small truck and transfer it to his van. Problem is, like many others, it just seems weird to have it go from south of us to 7 hrs north of us before it gets to that town an hour and a half away.

We can't complain too much as it generally serves our purposes.

No worry about ammo orders here as .................................IT"S F"N CALIFORNIA! (maybe that gets changed soon wink

I thought the ammo shipment thing did get the boot. Recently, as within the past month?

Belay that - February 1st.

You really DO get what you pay for.

All carriers will screw up sometimes. Just some more than others.

My money is with UPS if it's anything I care about.

UPS is outstanding here. FedEx is solid. Our USPS driver makes Newman look good. I've seen him hit garbage cans and mailboxes. He delivered $900 worth of Cutco knives to the wrong address. Thankfully that neighbor brought them to us. Amazon was regularly delivering a neighbor's packages to us. That stopped.

More remote areas of Montana do not have Dailey delivery from either Fed Ex or UPS.
UPS mon-we’d-fri, fed ex generally two days only.

If you go conditions 1 on 'em a few times they'll straighten right up.

Fed EX (here) is all skinnies and contract drivers. 'Nough said.

UPS is problem free (probably gonna regret saying that on my next order)

USPS 50/50

Where did the order originate from ?

"Amazon was regularly delivering a neighbor's packages to us."

Some Amazon drivers use a GPS instead of looking for your address. I was in my front yard on the day when I was expecting an Amazon delivery. When he showed up he got out of his truck and seemed confused. I told him he was at the right house (I have my address on my mailbox and on the front of my house). I asked him if the looked at his GPS instead of looking for the address and he said he did. I know our local fire department does the same thing and I suspect our cops do too.

I've also watched my package arrive at a neighbor's house due to GPS. Kinda hard to understand when they pass the address on the way to the wrong house. But I'm not in the truck with them.

Driver took one look at that address, remembered what happened last time he showed up late at your place and said "screw that, I'm taking this package to Texas".

I have had bouts of poor service from both UPS and Fed Ex. Those ended with a change in drivers so I would put more of the blame on the driver rather than the company. Overall, both have been pretty decent but there have been times they have been frustrating.

I ordered something a few weeks ago, can't remember the vendor, but they gave shipping choices. FX about $10.50, UPS ~$12. Glad to pay a buck 50 extra.

FX the weakest of the 3 here.

To each his own, but UPS has lost more things for me than has Fed Ex.

Fed Ex is ok for me unless it stops in Memphis, TN then it's 50/50. Ordered a 3 pk. 54" lawn mower blades on 3/13 still waiting no tracking updates nothing, my grass will be a foot tall soon.

All about the driver. Good USPS, UPS, and FedEx Express drivers. For the moment.

FedEx Home delivery I could do without. <SMH>
