I got one of these refurbished Pulsars (XQ50) a week ago from Doug. Just wanted to say Thanks to Doug. It was a great deal and it has worked well so far.

It seems weird and throws up my red flag that there are enough failures to have a refurb sale on something. They have so many on hand that they have to fire sale them? I would do some research on all this before dropping cash on a product with a refurb sale. Not a popular opinion I'm sure, but that's just me.

Like I said, not a popular opinion I'm sure. Still, logic prevails. For some at least.

Yes, these are labeled refurbished, however, they are a mix of:
Salesman's Samples
Show units
Other dealer overstock returns

Demo units
Defectives that are indeed refurbished
Loaner products
All of these units go thru customer service and technicians to insure they are 100% operationally perfect and they come with a 1 year Pulsar warranty.

Every company calls these types of products by various names....Refurbished, Demo, Class 2, Code U, ect. Bottom line is you're getting a great perfectly working unit at a substantial savings

Thanks Doug. That helps explain the numbers, but why not call them something other than refurbished? Demo or dealer overstock returns sounds a hell of a lot more appealing than refurbs.
