Telly, a newcomer in the TV business is giving away 55" TV's, with a catch. To get it, you give them your data. The TV comes with a bar below the screen that runs non-stop ads and you can't bypass it. Then they sell your data. They say that all smart tv's do that anyway so you might as well get a free tv to go with it. Yeah, right. FREE TV

That marketing doesn't make sense to me.
If someone had to get a free TV because they couldn't afford a not free TV, then just how valuable are they to market anything to? Hell, they can't afford what they are being marketed with...
