I finally decided on the stock wood and style. I am going to do an English walnut dual grip, with a sanded in Pro Custom Oil finish. The humidity here in FL can make it a long term job. I am not going to do a fancy grain stock, just an A grade with straight grain. It is a cast bullet gun after all.
Discovered my band saw's rubber wheel cover had started coming apart, so had to scrape the wheel down. Now I need to find a new replacement band saw wheel cover. It is an older Craftsman saw.
While resting, I built a target stand at 250 meters on my range and hung two 20" broken disc blades, that I cut holes in for bolts.
