Mil Pro (20x) Reticle
Accurate mil spacing on 20x magnification. With half Mil spaced markings extending out to 8 Mil of holdover, the Mil Pro (20x) is a versatile reticle that provides aim points no matter how extreme the distance.
All reticle measurements are Mil spaced and offer 1 Mil, 0.5 Mil and 0.25 Mil brackets for range finding. Every second Mil spacing on the lower section is numbered to ensure quick and easy acquisition of target and ease of reference.
Each cross has a see-through gap, allowing an unobstructed view of the target. The thick outer posts are hollowed to ensure they can be seen at all magnifications, without blocking out too much of the view.
Mil Pro 20x models have additional 1/4 Mil aim points on the center section of the reticle to give even greater precision.
When on 20x magnification, the Mil spaced reticle and 1/10 MRAD turrets make for easy point of aim adjustment. Every 10 clicks on the turret will measure exactly 1 Mil spacing on the reticle, also known as 1 MRAD.

Kinda lost me on the reticle.

Mil-Pro 20x, or 10x? Both listed.

With 15x max scope?

At what power does the reticle match up?

I asked Doug the same question on Rokslide forum. It's obviously a typo copied off of Hawkes website as it's wrong there as well. I'm gonna say it's 10x which isn't all bad.

It was a typo on the website description. True Mil spacing should fall in line at 10x or 20x. Since the magnification only goes to 15 it would fall into that gap at 10x not 20

This is a quick word on my initial impression of this scope I received today. This is my opinion only at the unboxing. No mounting or shooting. I know this is a CCP product but for the price, what the heck.

Ordered Wednesday online and Doug and UPS had it here today, Friday. Well packaged, needed wrenches and extra screws for turrets included as well as metal scope caps.

First impression of the scope is, it's well made. Weight was 22.2 ounces with metal caps, 20.4 without. Controls were smooth.

Eye relief and eyebox seemed very good. Not hard to get behind at all. No tunneling. Will confirm once mounted on a rifle. View was clear, color and contrast were good also. Parallax goes down to 10 yards and marked yardages were correct.

Only thing that gives me pause is the reticle is thin. It would be no problem in a controlled setting at the range. I went outside and the only time I "lost" it was in a very broken, leafy background with shadows and sunlight mixing together. Kinda hard to explain. Illumination on max (6) helped some but wasn't totally " daylight" brite. I will need more exposure to really make up my mind about it for hunting in woods.

Overall I really like this scope. It remains to prove itself for holding zero, tracking etc. I still need to figure out where it fits due to my reticle concerns. At the least, it will go on a .223 target and prairie dog gun and provided it holds and dials, it will be great.

I badly want to buy another at this price, but I need to spend more time with it first. Hope this helps. By the way, I payed for this scope outta my own pocket.

Would you mind posting pics of the turret? the whole "lock n stop" seems unclear and the online pic seems like a computer rendering. Thanks!
