I’m thinking of trying to do this, just a solid color besides black, to give a couple of my revolvers a bit of personality. I’m not sure what might stick to textured rubber. Would Krylon work? Has anyone done this?

Krylon sells a clear plastic primer adhesion promoter spray, you might try that. There are also spray paints for vinyl that might work.
