Andy Griffith had talent. He left the world with a lot of good entertainment. I watch the re-runs still. The one thing I read somewhere was he requested when he dies, he wanted to be buried the same day. Some of the folks on that show did not live long. Last I knew the gal that played Ellie , was still alive.

I remember that show. Use too hunt with Emmit-the guy that had the fixit shop on that show. He new Stringbean and Grandpa jones and sometimes we would pheasant hunt together with junior samples. Those were good times. Eating Vienna sausages and drinking Pepsi on the tailgate of my truck.

Bob Newhart used to drop by the house pretty often, we’d listen to Molly Hatchet records on the Curtis Mathes simulated wood console. Ma-maw would have banana pudding and warm Sakè. We’d always talk Bob into taking his shirt off and showing us his newest tattoo.
