Idaho's house has just passed an immigration bill that would deport illegals to their home country. Can a state actually do that or is this just another feel good bill?
It also makes a first offense a misdemeanor and a 2d offense a felony.

I don't think the Constitution addresses that so I would think they could but under the current Oligarchy I expect the DOJ to deny that right.

At the very least, they should take them to a border and toss them across. Most of Idaho's major highways cross borders in remote areas.

I’m not a legal expert, but I’m told that possession is 9/10ths of the law. If the Feds want to try to stop it, arrest them for interference with a peace officer.

This dark Uniparty deep state cabal is trying to forever fix their ruling class status by flooding the country with 10-15 mil “newcomers”, get them voting or at least counted by the Census. They don’t care. Just power hungry. It’s all about them, not the country. Same with all the reckless spending to buy votes. No regard for the growing debt and long term consequences. If the state legally detains an alien they can hold them for ICE to process and deport them.
If ICE doesn't deport them, I don't believe a state can. But I could be wrong about that. It happened once before.

Off the top of my head. “Powers not delegated to the government, are reserved to the states, and the people.” A state absolutely has the right, and the responsibility, to protect its own interests from the fed gov.
