The wildest thing in my opinion is that bees have to be trucked into the agricultural mecca that is California.
There is something inherently wrong with that. 1 guess. .GOV

They truck bees all over the USA because of the changing seasons. Here in ND a lot are shipped to southern states when fall hits so that they will continue to produce honey. Two drivers required because if you stop the truck to long the bees will leave and be lost. Edk

.gov would be responsible for the produce basket of the US not supporting high enough bee numbers to pollinate important crops?

What ever became of the Africanized bees that got loose in South America and made their way to the U.S.? There was quite a hysteria about them for a while, now you never hear a word about them. Allegedly they would take over our European bee hives and kill the bees in the hive.
Maybe they hybridized and sort of disappeared like the Neanderthal.

There is something inherently wrong with that. The natives refused to unionize and were banished. Now, like most all other ag ops in Cali they use migrants.

The bee deal kinda resembles the frogs dying off and being a deformed. Bullschittt spread to fertilize the global warming crap. I’m thinking the frogs must have made it as no new news on them in years. Edk

I like bees. Don't know if I'm allergic. Wasps, however, I have a passion for eliminating those nests.

I’m thinking the frogs must have made it as no new news on them in years. Edk Well....kinda yes and no. It wasn't cell phones or cell towers. There have been some massive die offs....and there has been a massive influx of hobbyists get into bees. The scab hobby guys have been trouble for the commercial guys....but the commercial guys have been figuring out ways to deal with problems. Different breeding for the bees and an extra careful attention to hive health has solved some problems. Hell...there are a large number of operators who don't overwinter bees. Just get new ones in the spring.

Maybe they hybridized and sort of disappeared like the Neanderthal. Negative. All we have in the desert southwest and expanding. All I deal with. Hell on local beekeepers who do need genetically clean bees to truck to CA....

Beetles and moths are less of a problem...as well as veroa mites.
