Looking to sell a couple of rifles, and want to check for a fair price.
First rifle: Remington 700, CDL 270 WSM. Almost like new, with only 18 rounds fired.
Second rifle: Ruger M77 Mark II, 270 Winchester. In very good condition for 1997 mfg. Has a few marks here and there on the stock, and very minor finish wear on the blueing of the barrel sides.
Any help is appreciated, and if anyone is interested, PM me for photos.

I'd guess around 800 for each.
Both are worth less because of the calibers.
1st would be 200-400 more easily if it was a Roberts, etc.

Both are worth less because of the calibers. unless you're looking for those calibers... is the ruger stock wood or syn/zytel? probably closer to a grand on the CDL

Ruger is a walnut stock.
Thanks for the input, I know the 270 WSM is a less desirable caliber than some. I figured 270 Winchester was still somewhat relevant, but maybe not?

Go to Gunbroker.com and do an "Advanced Search" for "Closed Auctions". Enter your info and see what was actually sold recently.

The WSM cartridges never caught on. Ammo price and availability hurt them. The idea was a long action ballistics in a short action gun

I had a Winchester Featherweight in 270WSM. It was very accurate and put a black bear in the freezer. If you reload, don't hesitate to buy one.

FWIW, 18 rounds is still a used gun so far as pricing. Pit your inquiry in the Classifiec and see what you get.
