I need to find another for the beach. I sold this one to some guy in Grand Caymon, the guy sent me cash through the mail. I painted it and built the rack on top and the lift. Holy Christ you were fat! C'mon, that was funny considering your recent weight loss adventure. That you did VERY good at BTW. Thanks, I was 38-39 there and didn't start gaining all the weight till I was about 51-52.

I had a '93 Country edition, 4.0L. Bought it in '03 from a retired teacher. I ran it for 12 more years through a lot of snowy, salty roads, and muddy deer woods roads. It never let me down.

Had a 94 country that my wife drove daily. Great engine and 4wd. Went everywhere I wanted it to go. Except when it would turn off going down the road at 65mph. Then it was a little sporty…

I sure miss my old 1997 Cherokee Sport 4WD, with the 4.0L straight six, great vehicle. Bought it new when I lived in the UP, the block heater and battery blanket came in handy. I put 278,000 + miles on it, the salt wasn't kind to the rocker panels. Gave it to my son who quickly lifted it and put some oversized tires on and used for mudbogging and trail rides. That was one tough little Jeep, it went to just over 300,000 miles and it was done.
My wife has a 2005 Grand Cherokee with the hemi in it, great for family trips but it's no Jeep.
I hope my 4 Runner gives me that type of longevity and durability.

I got one I’d sell ya. Don’t know what it’d take to get it to you from TN tho. It has a custom one off roof rack and front bumper. Even has an onboard semi truck 12 volt air compressor under the hood. Plumbed into an air tank and hose reel mounted in the back
It was a project of my sons before his life got busy. I think it’s got a straight 6cyl in it/ auto tranny. It ran when it was parked, that’s about all I can tell you right now. I got a clear title for it.

Manuals are hard to find.
I have the Izuzu Trooper manuals... same type of utility... 1999 and 2000
If you are not actively engaging EVERY enemy you encounter... you are allowing another to fight for you... and that is cowardice... plain and simple.

Son’s got what I think is a 70 something Jeep Cherokee…beat to hell, rough, real rough…16 year old grandson learned to drive on it, been beating up the back roads with it last couple of years, ever since he could see over the steering wheel. Son has told him he’ll keep it as long as the boy can keep it running…for that purpose that old wreck is priceless.

Oh yeah... The 2 door version of the Cherokee is cooler than a fan. Bought a piece of property at foreclosure that had one on it. Found out how big of a cult following they had. People coming out of the woodwork like they’d found the holy grail in a great condition low mile one. Brought good $$ at the auction.

I needed longer front control arms on it. you'd hit a bump going 56-60 and hit a small bump and it would get the death wobble, scare the chit out of if you weren't expecting it. I did warn the guy who bought it and told him it needed 2 inches longer or adjustable arms on it.

I have a 97 with the 4.0 auto. Four inch lift, 33” tires. Good little buggy that goes anywhere, I use it for hunting, fixing fence, got a small trailer I use with it to get into the ravines for firewood. Better than a side by side because I can drive it to work or get feed with it. And it as a lot cheaper. No rust, but a salvage title after someone backed into something on one corner. I only gave $2500 for it, bought it as a temp ride when I was between trucks. Liked it so much I kept it.

one of my favorite cars I owned. Loved that 4.0 HO engine.
Stopped making them around 2001. Hard to find one that isn't trashed now.

Cherochee People... Cherochee Tribe... So proud to live... So proud to Drive... Nice play on words . . . thought it was Paul Revere & the Raiders or some such ??? I think it was Cher. All these years I thought she was Native American, turns out she is Armenian or Greek or some such thing.
