Dundee is in southern Michigan. I did look at the tang but couldn't honestly say if it is, or isn't, cracked. I could see a faint line right of center of the tang running back and down but not sure if it was a crack or a scratch. It was tight with no separation of the wood and it didn't seem to follow the grain. Best I could tell in the lighting there. It has the "dog knot" on the barrel for the rear sight dovetail. I didn't think to look at the markings.

I asked the kid in the gun library what the backpack was. He said that was supposed to be on the tag of an AK pistol they had, so no backpack included LOL. That place is a joke from what it was a few years ago. They have a plethora of high priced ARs and tactical stuff but very little in old classics. Most likely because the flat brimmers that they hire to run it won't pay decent money for anyone to consider selling to them.........except the guy who sold them this 99 for a pittance
