Clouds rolled in about one oβclock and the eclipse itself was not visible. It did darken up quite a bit at the Maxium time. All-in-all a great day to spend some time outdoors tho.

its not that cool, I think last year is a 95%+ eclipse where I was at, a few years earlier we had another that was 90%, basically it just gets dim like you put on sunglasses and the temperature drops because the son is blocked. its gets noticeably cooler. I think it needs to be 100% to really make it worth caring about seeing.
Here at our place, northeast Missouri, we had clear skies and really nice day. Watched with welding helmets. What I did notice was the wind died to almost nothing during the eclipse and started back up at the end. One thought that ran through my mind is how all the idiots in the world think man is causing the planet to heat up yet here is an example of one more thing we have no control over.
We had a good clear sky here and 3.5 minutes of total eclipse. I enjoyed it more than I expected. It got pretty dark during. Dogs wouldn't go for a walk afterwards and don't want to go outside.
