This is the last podcast I'll make before season starts. It's interesting, because I was on a high point overlooking the head of Dead Skunk Hollow. The hens were on one side and the gobbler was on the other. The hens set off the gobbler, but he did not come off the roost, so the hens crossed over the pasture and went down in the hollow looking for him. At one point the gobbler shut up and the hen kept pacing back and forth calling to him to get a response.
