I was prescribed Levaquin for a sinus infection and soon after I partially detached the bicep tendons in both arms followed by detached/ruptured tendons in my left shoulder. All the drugs on my "do not prescribe" list are antibiotics.

Not for me. I had the issue decades before covid was invented. I think mine came from 4 years of being around jets and occasionally caught without my mouse ears on the line. When tested coming out of the service, I was advised to not waste any funds on high end stereo gear.
My version sounds like a field full of crickets. To me, that's a fairly pleasant background.

Mine sounds like cicadas, very loud cicadas. It dawned on me one night in the backyard. When I realized cicadas aren’t out in November. The volume was equal to what most people have their television set at. I noticed I hadn’t heard a bluejay cry in the woods in years. I couldn’t hear turkeys gobbling if they were over a 100 yards away. Every night I sat on the edge of the bed playing my electric guitar unplugged. When I went got tested finally I found out I had lost 60% high frequency and 30% low frequency. The first evening I got hearing aids I was shocked how loud the unplugged electric guitar was. My wife always laid on the other side of the bed reading. I asked why she never said anything about how loud the guitar was. She said she just ignored it. I started playing in another room after that. The next morning when I walked outside. The amount of bird noises I heard sounded like Alfred Hitchcocks The birds. Amazing how much I missed out the years not knowing. I tell all my friends, go to Costco and get tested.
A bowhunter at heart but a gun guy at soul. I'll take craftsmanship, wood and blue steel over plastic and composite any day.
