I would slay some of that.

Had some "previously frozen wild AK sockeye" tonight, but I'd take a platter of them crappie over previously frozen salmon any day.

Crappie is as good as it gets for freshwater fish in my opinion.

Mostly,

I have no issue with cold water stream caught trout, cold water catfish, stripers, and even smallies and largemouth caught in cold water, not to mention spring bluegill.

But crappie are usually a real treat.
