I think Ruger had one of the highest quality rifles chambered for that cartridge. Awesome rimfire cartridge. The search is have the fun. Hope you find one soon.

And I have been looking for a heavy barrel Ruger 77/17 WSM myself, for several years now - several of my friends have them and they LOVE them!
Every once in a while one of them lets me shoot a magazine full of 17 WSM through their Rifles at Colony Varmints/Ravens.
And this..... MAYBE I am lucky I have not found one - my friends are having extreme difficulty finding ammo for their Rifles these days - seems 17 WSM ammo is going for "outrageous" prices - when it can be found at all.
