Had another 2 in a sports car, neither of which lasted 3 years. The first was replaced under warranty during COVID ... after a months-long wait for it to arrive. When the replacement died, again well before 3 years, no warranty coverage. That car no longer has an Odyssey in it.

Two Odyssey batteries for a Duramax are now priced at near $900 including shipping and Cali tax! shocked

No more Odyssey for me. Damn shame too. I had a set of Platinum (?) from Sears that were rebranded Odysseys that lasted me almost 10 years in that same Duramax. THOSE were batteries.
Any experience with the Full Throttle brand?

Nope. Been pretty set on Odyssey for so long …. Gonna keep up with this thread and do my research when I need new ones. Walmart is looking like it’s in the lead right now, but we’ll see.

Walmarts are made by Johnson Controls, as are half the batteries sold in the US. What makes them better is that Walmart will stand behind them. You can go into a Walmart anywhere in the country and they can find your sale on their computer, without a receipt.

And again, Johnson Controls sold its battery division to Clarios, which is a subsidiary of Brookfield Business Partners, in 2019.

They work damn well for me. Good choice, I think.
