There isn't anything much better than Avocado to eat on so many things. Nor so healthy for so many reasons.

Bet they are free, because the best ones are free. Even better than stolen ones from the orchard up the hill.

Best ones ever were from my "uncle's" place near Escondido. I was a starving student and stopped by his place on the way back up to school one Christmas vacation. He said as I was leaving "I have something out in the garage for you" and presented me with a lug of them. I wasn't a fan of avos, could take or leave them. I learned to love them as I certainly couldn't afford them on my limited food budget at the time.

I've got 3 properties with avocado trees, so have an endless supply.

Used to haul them by the 18 wheeler load from the San Jose California area to the Los Angeles produce market. A few didn't survive the trip, on a regular basis!
