I'd avoid the folding model.

It looks like a contraption that would get you killed, if you ever needed to use it under stress.

I remember those. Been a while since I've seen anything about them.

Did you score the one from Fort Mill Cabelas/Bass Pro for $930? Sold recently, nice deal.

Looks like a great way to screw up a good handgun.

I’ve got a full conceal Glock 19. The trigger is metal and bobbed short so it folds and takes a little getting used too but functions like a Glock trigger and shoots well. The grip is also bobbed to about the same length as a G 26 but it’s about the same length as all the other compact and sub compact CCW guns I have. The most annoying thing is the tension and adjustment of the folding clip retainer needs to be checked and adjusted if you open and close it more than a few times. It gets attention at the range and everybody wants to try it. Most people who are experienced seem to get the feel for it after a few round and shoot it well. Never had a failure with mine that wasn’t due to my buddies hand loads. It’s been reliable as my other Glocks have been. Depending on the clothes you’re wearing it really does conceal well in a pocket, while printing it just doesn’t look like a gun. If you take the time to dress and properly holster up, then there are better CCW choices. I grab it when I wasn’t planning on leaving the house and need to run to the store real quick or something and it’s a choice of a P380 or S&W 642 in a sticky holster or the or the Full Conceal in a pocket. I usually grab the Full Conceal G19 for the magazine capacity and ease of dropping it in a pocket without a holster. The front pocket of a hoodie or side pocket of cargo shorts. One of those trade off situations might not be the fastest draw but I got pretty quick with mine but then you have midsize 9mm with a lot of ammunition in your hands. The weight and size of the 19 with a loaded magazine make it about as big as I would want to pocket carry so I’m not sure how awkward the larger slide of the 17 would be?

What’s the purpose of it? I don’t feel it would conceal any better than a normal pistol.

For a collector it would be a nice addition, for a person that carries a pistol it looks like a "willy e coyote get caught in your own trap mess". I put a P365 in my pocket.

Not by much, anyway. The idea, I think, is that when it prints through your pants pocket, it doesn't scream handgun to those with whom you are in company.
