Now I can’t find brass up here, so hope to get someone to order it in.
Never thought brass would be an issue.🙄

Is 458 Lott brass any easier to get? A quick turn with a reamer and you'd have a rifle that would shoot either 458 WM or 458 Lott. Two options for brass that way.

Have some once fired coming, and a fellow looking for new for me. Had a fellow at the last gun show this weekend who had a few Ruger no 1 rifles, one was in 458 and in very used shape, no where near as good as the one coming and he was asking well over 2000.00 CDN for it😳
It at least gave me a chance to handle that rifle in that caliber and man it seems to be a heavy son of a gun.

Instead of "Flash-Hider Muzzle-Device", you should spend a little time educating them until they change the terminology to something more appropriate like:
"Loudener"
"In a charge situation with dangerous game, should you miss, the loudener makes the rifle-shot so much louder that the offending critter is scared off".

Never used a muzzle brake, this one just happened to have one.
Shoot 375 and 338 magnums and have shot bolt action 458’s so no worries there, talked to a gunsmith on how it is on there and he wants to see it so he can make sure it can be removed.
He’s the one that has the four bore and that is something to see, and fire.

Well the Ruger came in, along with a Cooey model 600, the Ruger looks fantastic, not shot much. I was able to unscrew the end piece, it has an internal thread, so they obviously had someone thread the barrel right in front of the front sight, so nice to be able to remove it.
But best I get a thread protected on it, just have to see what the thread is on it.
