Just as I was getting semi-comfortable with it, they changed it!

Yes they did. Doesn't appear updated either. Kind of frustrating.

its better today, a couple days ago I tried to look at some stuff and the badge with the pronghorn on it was over the top of everything and you could not read any of the links to know where to click. Still difficult to navigate compared to the old one.

I’ve been pretty PO’d with their website for years. With every improvement……it only gets worse and more unusable! It’s a bad joke! 🤬 memtb

Of all the Rocky Mountain states I’ve looked at in recent years, Wyoming’s website is the most incomprehensible…..

As long as you are capable of finding your azz with both hands (you are not), it's easy to navigate and find the info you're looking for.

What confused me was POINTS
Will non-residents get a POINT if they don't DRAW?
Or is it a separate application?

I did call WG&F and the person I talked to said the opposite of what is stated on their website.

If you get a point, don't buy one. If you don't, buy one. Or not. Either way, it's irrelevant because you still won't understand...

Moose and sheep PP are award when you apply and don't draw. PPs for elk, deer and pronghorn must be bought in July, they are not awarded after unsuccessful draws.

Now, apparently you need to go thru several levels of not the topic of your search to get to the species/ dates. Not user friendly. How hard is it to make a single sheet w species and dates?

Definitely took a minute for me to figure out the new formatting....
At least the website was updated after the WG&F Commission approved the seasons.

I had no issues with the old website and wish they would have not changed it. The new one I do see a couple of improvements but those things could have been done with the old website without any major changes. Such as now when you're in the hunt planner and go to the harvest report of the area you're looking at, it gives you the most recent harvest report data (from 2023.) Previously it would show data from 2018.
The full size Arc GIS map isn't as useful as it was before. You can no longer click on areas on the map and bring up info about that area like you could before. Hopefully there will be some improvements to this.
Another issue is they no longer have draw results for the leftover draw. I think there were other things I noticed as well but that's all I can think of for now.

I’am a resident, Wyoming is still in the dark ages in many regards, game management wise and their documents among them. I don’t know why they keep reinventing the wheel.

I have hunted in many western states and some on the east coast. We have one of the best if not the best game and fish in the country. They try to do what is best, but with outfitters, sub divisions, poachers, weather, they have at best a difficult time. No one is perfect and I am sure they are not, but they are tops in their field. my only grip with them is giving bowhunters any thing they ask for.

Mohall might be some weather coming your way tomorrow, we have snow coming but looks like your side might get some hail and bad weather. We'll be in Sybille Canyon doing some irrigating this weekend.
