Hi, I've been having a problem with a small dark colored bee a little smaller than a honey bee. They are getting under my siding where it meets the foundation. I tried wasp stopper on them and spraying where they go in which had no effect that I could see. I sprayed liquid sevin and powdered sevin which didn't do anything either. Any ideas before I call an exterminator? Thanks Mike

Post a clear pic of one. May be perfectly harmless Mason bees... Or might be Carpenter bees. Pic will help

Boric acid (roach pruf) or just regular borax like they sell for laundry detergent booster. Ideally if you can use some kind of air puffer to blow it into the hole a bit. When they crawl through it, they'll carry it to the nest. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01LRMN9Z...si&th=1&psc=1&language=en_US
Think. It's not illegal, yet.

OP,
longarm just might know what he's talking about.
Not sure about PA, but here in Cali they say there's over 1600 bee species. How many of them are bad for siding? Easier to tell if you get a picture of them.

We need all the pollinators we can get. Take it easy with all insecticides, know what you are trying to eliminate, before you start the chemicals..

Leaf cutter bees are pricks. They like my wife's lilacs, sometimes the honeysuckle, and even my little struggling apple trees. Probably spread the damn fire blight to other plants. grump grump grump

Over 80% The two containers dangling from the lid are filled with washed cocoons, which are hatching out now. They should start filling those holes pretty soon after collecting pollen
