I was wondering how Fetterman came out on this given some of his semi common sense stances of late? There would be plenty of fodder to be made of this vote in the next election cycle if the R’s had a clue and a will on how to use it.
Osky Osky , Good Morning. The R's are fully ''''clued-in'''' on what they're doing. You don't get to top positions being a dummy- you get there by being smart & greedy. The ""R's"" view themselves as our overlords- they only pretend to 'care', all they really care about is holding onto their job. Enter politics by agreeing to do XYZ, net worth $600K, four years later- net worth> 6 million. Oligarchy in real-time

Schumer saved the RINOs from having to vote “NO”.
Now they owe him . Yep, our fine senator, John Cornyn, wiping his brow and going " Whew"...the sorry bastard.

No surprise there, it was a waste of time & money before they even started. Who knew? Never a waist of time seeking justice. As for a waist of money, how so? How is it a waist of money for members of Congress to follow the law and the Constitution. Call this process a “waist of money” is akin to saying Republicans should never oppose the Democrat agenda, waist of money, the Democrats will win anyway, so just hand them whatever they want to save money, idiot.

I'm surprised that our Republican Senator Cassidy did not vote with the Democrats. He voted to impeach Trump.
I don't care who or what runs against him, they have my vote. We would have done as well to keep Mary Landrieu.

There are so many people that are easy to despise on the left but Schumer is near the top of my list. Trumps also.

Tough talk from a governor that sat on his hands for 3 1/2 years. Boom. And that Double Standard is gradually becoming painfully obvious to We The People.(which is the plan).

Purely party lines
The senators voted 51-48 against considering the first article of impeachment, with one Republican, Sen. Lisa Murkowski of Alaska, voting present. The vote to kill the second article split 51-49, with Murkowski siding with her party. Three independent senators — Bernie Sanders of Vermont, Angus King of Maine and Kyrsten Sinema of Arizona — sided with the Democrats on both votes.
Decades of voting for the lesser of two evils has gotten us just that.....

Speaking of “Waste of money” how much additional money was spent impeaching Mayorkas as opposed to congress doing nothing.

That’s fine. The replacement would be worse. Better to let the Senate set a precedent of doing unlawful stuff so it can backfire if the Republicans ever grow a sack. Soooooo, you're sayin' there's a chance? Bwahahahahahahahahaha

Yes it was an exercise in futility , but what message would have been sent had the house not sent articles of impeachment to the senate. We knew all the DEMONcrats would vote to acquit anyway, but that does not mean the rinos in the house should take their balls and bats and go home sulking. Have to stand for thr rule of law even if you are in the minority, unless you’re a DEMONcrat. Just further proves to me there aren’t three branches of gov’t , like our founders intended, but what they feared most, a fourth , that be the unelected bureaucratic monster, the congress and we the people allowed to grow out of control, self replicating to the point it controls the very body that created it. Meaning the people and their elected leaders. One gets the kind of gov’t , or lack there of, by our own actions , or there again lack there of. 2024 is the most important election of our lives folks, we better not loose this one or we are doomed as a representative republic.
