Collector Grade rifle for sure.
Doesn't show evidence of being fired a whole lot and I have not shot it. Probably make a nice 35 Whelen

That’s exactly what I did with a featherweight classic I’ve had for 30 years. I had an outstanding smith blueprint the action and chamber a Kreiger #3 in 35 whelen in a more current twist rate. Bedded in a Mickey. It LOVES 225 partitions. .5” rifle allllll day. I have others, but I pick this one up every elk hunt
