Was using the neighbors 1960 model Massy Ferguson with a disc when the adjustable link broke. The very end broke where the ball rides in. It is the left thread end, 1 inch in diameter , fine thread and 3/4 inch where the pin goes through . Will this be a factory item ?? My landlords tractor has more coarse thread. Landlords is Kubota. Might have to buy the whole unit ? We have a tractor supply. Thanks , Alan

You can find them at Tractor supply and other farm stores.

Common item to break sometimes.

Grainger, McMaster & Carr, MSC if you can't find one locally! I would try MSC first.

Thanks folks! I will let the owner know as we will go on a search tomorrow. I see the weld on ends. The original link was a quality piece.

Broke a ball stud on a '68 CAT 12f grader yesterday, Tractor Supply is for buying dog food and socks. Head to Big Valley Tractor in Stockton they carry the Kubota line, I'm off to the machine shop.

Just take the toplink off and go down to Tractor Supply or measure it both threaded in and threaded out, and order a new one on Amazon.

It's not an expensive part. Just get the right length and you are GTG.

Unfortunately, been my experience on multiple occasions as well. Now I generally try to hire it done, or, buy the equipment myself.

Fix it and tell the neighbor thanks, and gift him with a case of grease. That looks dryer than a popcorn fart.

When our mechanics replace those, they “air arc” the old ones out and cat sells a new one that can be welded in the field.
