I have for sale an excellent used Winchester Model 70 featherweight compact chambered in 7mm-08. The high polish bluing is in excellent condition, the walnut stock is also very nice with only minor handling marks. Barrel is 20". Controlled round feed with claw extractor and jeweled bolt, scope bases included, fired very little. 1295.00 or best offer with free shipping. The usual payment methods accepted.

That’s a sweet rifle. I thought they were either a FW or a Compact. I wasn’t aware of one rifle being both. Good luck on the sale

I'm not much of a Winchester guy, but I've always liked these.
Pretty tempting. Maybe if my .280 sells.

One rifle isn't really "both". The compact has the shorter LOP (13"), and has a 20" barrel. The stock is also different than a featherweight stock. Kind of a mix of the sporter weight checkering panels with a schnable forend tip. It's a little different, but a very well balanced and most times accurate rifle. I'm sure it's only stamped "classic compact", and not "featherweight". Probably just an oversight on the OP's part. GLWS..

What you are showing is not the same rifle as the OP's. His is a Classic compact.

My post was directed towards the post by alwaysoutdoors and not a validation of the listing. Probably should have used the quote function. This link appears to be what is actually listed.
