My old 3Ms are getting tired. Looking for range muffs. Not hunting. What's your favorite and why. dave

My range sells Walker's Razors for under $50, cheap but pretty happy with em.

Howard Leight X 4. Under $50, if you don't have to have Multicam.

I've had Peltor and Walker and liked them both. I liked the Walkers the best, they had Bluetooth and I could listen to music or podcasts while mowing the lawn and running power tools. They were great for more than shooting. The Peltor muffs were slight better for shooting rifles than the Walker muffs were.
I got a suppressor and now I just use foam plugs as needed. I still have a cheap set of Amazon muffs with Bluetooth for other things.

I got a Walker's Razor and I like it. It is the only one I have used so I can't compare it to other brands.

I was in Sam's Club a few years ago and they had the Walker Razors for $27. Needless to say I am set for the foreseeable future.

Peltor 500 Tactical. Excellent muffs, 26 db, Bluetooth, gel ear caps. Decent price.

I have no idea if they're "the best," but I've been using Walker Xcel's for 3 1/2 years with no complaints. I shoot at an indoor range, so shots are loud. I like the 26 decibel NRR. I've not tried the Razors (23 db NRR). The Xcel's have good, clear voice amplification--which I need, because my hearing is poor. They've proved durable. I shoot probably 45+ days per year, and the day to day of getting bounced around in my range bag, tossing them on the shooting table, etc. hasn't had any negative effect. Another guy in my weekly shooting group has them too, and he has no complaints either. Anyhoo, good luck with your decision. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07C62NQFP/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I have Peltor that I use at the range and while hunting for my son and I. They are wonderful for a young hunter, you can whisper instructions, yet still protected when the gun is fired.

I have had a set of Peltors for several years. They work well. AAA batteries last a long time.
