Have you guys found a waterproof blind? Or, do they all drip?

I only have a sample of one, a Primos DoubleBull that I've had for a very long time. It's definitely not waterproof, so I give it a very liberal soaking of Scotchguard every year, which really does help. So, if you can't/don't find a waterproof one...

Do this to the seams of your pop up. It works.

Then spray the top of pop up, or all of it with this.

After doing this to a pop up I have been through some pretty bad rain storms and have stayed dry inside.

I set up a pair of Ameristep Doghouse blinds for the express reason of sitting in them when it's raining.

I go inside and look for all the pinholes in the roof then hit 'em with a spray can of Flex Seal. Works GREAT !!!

"Flex Seal" Brilliant. I'm gonna try that on my next one.

I don't have a blind like that, but I've used this stuff to waterproof seals on tents, canopies, and a convertible roof on a car. Works great and stays flexible.

If you use flex seal and it rains enough, just turn it over and use your shotgun for an oar! Lol!

Run a web search for "waterproof hub blind cap". Should come up with products on Amazon, Walmart, maybe Tractor Supply and some other places. Haven't tried one yet but you have me thinking about it now.

Just bought a can of the silicone spray. I'll give it a shot!
Thanks!

A hub blind that doesn
't l;eak.

Quit talking crazy!

I'm liking the flex seal idea.

I assume you spray the outside?

Another thought... MN requires blinds on public land to have 12 x 12 patch of orange on each face or a roof cap so do the flex seal and get that special; plastic paint so you don't have a flapping orange flag.

Other than that, How was the show Mrs. Lincoln?

Yep. I spray the Flex Seal on the outside.

I also use it after I've patched a tear (Gorilla Tape for the win) to seal the edges of the patch.

Just bought a can of Flex Seal at Wally-by- Golly tonight.

Any leftovers get sprayed on the screen door that I'm making my boat out of.
