Some of you all like the project I fool with from time to time. Sin in laws friend gave him this piece of crap protein feeder. We picked it up Tuesday afternoon. Got it finished this morning. Had a terrible patch over this, gues this is some kind of old tank. pic share

Could have made ladder the 3rd leg but that gives raccoons access, made it to be taken off. It’s a little long, needs to be cut when he gets it on level ground. Will have to put 4” pipe on legs like this to keep the SOBs off We put up a round pig trap about two hundred yards from these pigs. Hopefully some of these bastards will end up in that round pen!!

I mark angle on leg mount like this. I tack it to table at the angle I want, use spacer block to scribe cut. I learned that when I was a fitter apprentice 50 years. It’s how you miter tees on pipe.

Looks good. Good to have the ability to do these projects. It’s all part of plumbing-pipefitting trade I worked at for 52 years. All of you have skills I can’t do. I can’t even operate the TV remote or a computer, not good with things with small pieces. Small crap frustrates me to no end.

I’ve always like metal. I don’t like wood project much, even though I built my house.
