I live in Seattle. Last week I ordered something from a company in Springfield Oregon. a distance of roughly 225 miles from Seattle. Shipments from them normally take two 2 days.

I think all of us are experiencing poor service from USPS. I had a rifle shipped to me recently from a Texan to me here in Texas. It took over a month to arrive. The seller and I thought it had been stolen.

A member here from Texas shipped me a scope about a month ago. Texas to Mississippi took 12 days. The scope sat in the Jackson MS distribution center for 9 days. The only time I use USPS now is for shipping firearms, because as an individual I have no other options due to woke UPS and FedEx. I would tell anyone right now.....do NOT ship an important package via USPS if you can avoid it.

Received scope today...finally! No fault whatsoever of the seller. Sat in Denver 8 days...to Colorado springs...back to Denver for 3 more days. Finally made it to tn. Scope in like new condition! Thought I would post for sake of the op. Deal with confidence. Usps...not so much.

Received scope today...finally! No fault whatsoever of the seller. Sat in Denver 8 days...to Colorado springs...back to Denver for 3 more days. Finally made it to tn. Scope in like new condition! Thought I would post for sake of the op. Deal with confidence. Usps...not so much.

They suck as of late, just hope it doesn’t pass through Memphis or Atlanta, that’s like the Bermuda Triangle. I waited 3 weeks for a priority mail, sit in Memphis 2 of those weeks. Registered mail is the safest and most secure way but it takes longer.

USPS is terrible anymore. I just shipped a valuable package to Florida first thing Monday morn. It sat in Wichita for 4 days and only said to the next facility. No tracking for a few more days and then made it to Florida. 10 days total in a large flat rate box insured heavily. I was sure it was gone but finally made it. Their logistics suck.

I've had several screw ups. I've learned to have patience indeed to the point it's almost comical. I've learned to put my packages/envelopes in the mail on Mondays. I ask the ones on the other end to do the same. Seems like 4 business days thereafter the mail does fair. Let it float around on the weekend and problems arise.

Think of the shear volume of packages they handle every day! As bad as your experiences are, and sorry for them, it isn't even the tip.... I've had better luck with USPS than UPS or FEDEX...

I v had 3 bad experiences with USPS since 1st of year. The last was sold a bull at auction barn and had them mail check instead of picking up, After 3 weeks they Stopped payment and reissued which i recieved. This week original check showed up after 6 weeks and it did not even have a postmark on it. Go figure.

I had a watch take 21 days from Michigan month or so ago. That was priority.
So undependable!!

I have had recent screw ups as well live in north central PA ordered an out of state item that went thru the sorting center in Harrisburg PA then to 4 different Post offices in the neighboring county then back to Harrisburg after 10 days it finally came.

I shipped some rifles a while back, one took a month, another 6 weeks. I’d already refunded the money on those two.

I'm amazed at how gullible people are to keep using "priority". I've been in there when they ask if they need it there in 2-3 days or 5-7 days.... sheeitt ain't neither one happening.
It'll all get back to normal after all those mail in ballots are sorted in November.
