I can find time to make knives!! I just swapped to a rotating 4/10 work schedule from 5/8's so I'm really looking forward to more shop time!

I recently completed this knife. It is my #10 model with desert ironwood with black paper micarta rear bolsters. The leather is Wickett & Craig 8 oz, lined with dyed elk hide.

My memory is not what it once was and Todd can correct me if he views this thread and finds a lapse.

I first became acquainted with Todd over at Accurate Reloading in the mid-2000's IIRC.

In fact, I was supposed to do a cow elk hunt in 2009, but my dad was to soon pass and I was not able to go.

Todd has made me two special knives.



IIRC, Weathered L6 steel, Spalted Pecan scales.

In addition, on short notice I asked Todd to fashion 4 knives for my two sons, Grandson and Son-in-Law as gifts. He did and inscribed their initials in each sheath.

The occasion was his 21st Birthday and his first buck.



My oldest son told me they skinned six deer with that knife that day.
