Hopefully this will bring down the crazy town pricing on anything TC.

Hopefully they'll pull out of the Springfield, Mass "toilet" they moved into.

Sad part is that the original location in Rochester Nh is still an open lot.

I interviewed to be their Customer Service Manager just before S&W
purchased the company and the tried to "strong arm" the NH Governor
(Lynch at the time) for a tax break or else.

Lynch told S&W to "pound sand" and they shut the place down and never
reopened the Custom Shop in their Massachusetts location.

JMO, but it seems that T/C never really found a niche in the market once people turned away from traditional muzzleloaders. Everything they made looked to be of good quality, but nothing ever sent me scurrying to find the checkbook. I hope they do well, but suspect they’ll have an uphill battle.

+1

T/C Venture was a great shooting budget rifle as well. The only thing I didn't like was the bolt handle, it was just a bit too short for my tastes.

I was big into the TC Contender in the 1980's and bought one for each of my sons as a first gun. I had almost all the 16" barrels at one time and was a member of the TCA where you could get special barrel offers. Just sold my last Contender a few weeks ago. I currently own 3 TC blackpowder guns. Glad to see them come back, but that ship has sailed for me and probably won't be a future customer.

Same here though the 22 semi-auto tempted me. I handled one a couple of weeks ago at a show and, again, was tempted.
