be cautious of Winchester brass. i bought 100 in unopened bags and had 10% split about 1 inch or more in the middle of the case. never in 65 years of reloading experienced this. at current cost this is significant.

A buddy just sent me a large bag of 30-30 brass, so I can make a lot of slightly short shooters, but would still like some factory head stamped brass.

I'm a .32-40 shooter too (three Winchester High Wall target guns) and I feel your pain. But, aside from having had the foresight to stock up when the brass was still readily available, I'm just as happy to form it out of the "long" .38-55 stuff and .30-30's - and I'll betcha that knowing of that workaround at least partially drives the "big brass monkeys" from doing anymore runs of it especially since they have bigger fish to fry.

I have a mix of unfired factory (17, WRA), fired cases (16 I believe they are Dominion) and enough reloads to probably make 40 total with 32-40 headstamp. I also have a box of 20 reloads using 32 Spcl cases. PM with phone # or email for prices and pics if any of these are of interest. I would like to move them all, but will separate if desired.
