OK, while I admit that I spend too much time wondering about things that aren't really important and being pissed off at things that don't really matter, this whole Airbnb business annoys me and leaves me wondering.
First, Airbuhnub is such as stupid-sounding name. Second, what do the bs stand for? (All right for the first one, but no way in hell for the second.)
Not a real member - just an ordinary guy who appreciates being able to hang around and say something once in awhile.

Our neighbor was doing it, and it pissed off everyone here. We don't need strangers drug into our community. They would be out walking around in the dark, across our yards. That might be normal in cities, strangers don't walk around on other people's land here. Damn sure don't in the dark. I personally couldn't understand it. Guy ran, than sold a couple businesses, several million payday at sale. Living in a $400k home, he wasn't broke. Renting out rooms in his home for less than a motel room. Not a chance in Hades we are welcoming strangers into my home while I'm sleeping. Feel the same about being in someone else's home, even if they aren't there. Motel rooms feel more comfortable to me. They are so...not personal? That I feel like it can be mine for a day. Don't want the place I sleep to reflect some other person, feel like a guest. Guest has certain conotations. Obligations...
Parents who say they have good kids..Usually don't!

However, to add this, some negatives- negroes and other onion-headed types get money or hijacked credit card numbers and rent out these properties for a 3 day crack party or use them for drop houses.
