TAURUS???

Thats what I thought for sure when I saw the Expedition come out. I swore off Taurus long ago, but one of their guns broke into my safe, and created an infection a few years ago. That was the TX22, I've since bought 3 more. So I was willing to give them a possible look at, and then this Expedition showed up. Remington 700 compatible, AI magazines, 3-lug 60 degree bolt, MLOK stock, threaded 308 barrel, butt-hook, and so on. I'm not gonna lie fellas, I was not expecting to like this. But if it shoots well, its gonna stay.

Taurus has become a different company under Bret Vorhees' leadership-- quality has improved significantly and they're actually producing guns that the U.S. market wants rather than what Brazil wants to send us. Looking forward to getting my hands on this rifle.

I got lucky with my first Taurus a 24/7 .40 S&W. I had one misfire in it and that was from riding all 4th of July weekends with it on ATV’s a couple years ago. Wiped it down and was good to go again. When I throughly cleaned it, let’s just say I had dirt in places I never imagined. I’ve since bought a G3c and a TX22, both are great pistols.

I looked it up at the Taurus web site and noticed this in the writeup. "the Expedition often delivers sub-MOA accuracy, thanks to its hammer-forged barrel."

I saw no other accuracy claim stated.

I hope they make a nice product but I'd wait to see reviews before buying a first gen rifle.

The Devil’s in the details. How much of it is built with MIM parts and unseen plastic or other shoddy parts, and cheapness where it doesn’t show? I’d wait for a detailed review from someone who’ll take it apart, not just shoot it a bit.

Yup, and at least one of those, a highly regarded YouTuber, says it’t pretty much the only Taurus that he likes. Actually, I can think of two that said that or words to that effect.

Hope it’s good. More choices are good, as long as the goods are good.
