Some who have been arrested are actually arguing in court that it's "unfair" for cops to use their social media to identify and then charge them. Sometimes things have unintended consequences. Fair is where you take your projects to display and win ribbons. Counties and states have fairs. It is unconstitutional however to monitor people’s phone calls and social media accounts without a warrant. Same with hunter bidet purchasing a gun. It is not unconstitutional. Just because it is illegal does not make it unconstitutional. The Constitution overrides the law.

From what I understand, the protesters are demanding that Columbia divests it's 13.6-billion-dollar endowment from all companies that are profiting off of the killing of civilians in Gaza. So whose civilians can we kill for fun and profit? GAZA looks just about perfect.  All this "financial advise" is from jobless people who won't/can't repay their student loans, while also demanding US financial institutes not loan money to Big Oil for exploration and infrastructure andmust invest in "Green Energy" whose ultimate monetary and environmental costs are greater. To claim it's unconstitutional for LE to look at social media without a warrant, when anyone else in the world can see it, makes zero sense.
