When I was a kid, Baby Ruths were the best deal. They were twice the size of other candy bars and they cost 3 cents. Most other candy bars cost 5 cents.

I'm pretty sure the price of a 5 gallon jug of hydraulic fluid has doubled in the last few years. Funny you say that.. About 5 yrs. ago i bought a gallon of Hydraulic fluid for 10 bucks. Last week I bought a gallon for $18.

Buy the Walmart knock-off version. Sure, they tast bad but they're half the price of the real thing.
The Walmart version of Twix, on the other hand, are better than the original.

I gave up on Snickers for the most part, Twix too, as prices rose past $2 for the large ones. My recent fad are Coffee Crisp bars at $1.50 each at the local grocery store. Have seen them on this side of the Canadian border only once before. Not only are they better tasting than Twix bars but they bring back memories of canoeing in Canada from the mid-1970s to the early 1990s.
