Were there any NH 6 digit Classic CRFs that came from the factory with blued steel and synthetic stocks?

So if the barrel is stamped "Classic Featherweight" it would have left the factory in a wood stock. Is that right?

Yes

Yes, but they came on the long action stainless all terrain and those are stamped “classic stainless” on the right side of the barrel. 270/06 are a fw contour at 22”; 7 rm 300 wm and (uncatalogued) 338 wm had sporter/mag contour at 24”. Also available with the boss.

Not all of the 1992-2006 CRF Winchesters have "Classic" stamped on them. I have a 6 digit SS CRF rifle in 30-06 that I bought used. It was in a Hogue stock when I got it, and I don't think that was factory. In a McMillan Edge now. But it does not say "Classic" on it. As near as I can tell it was made 1999 or 2000.

Post some pictures if you don’t mind.

The WSM’s are (usually) not stamped classic.

You are correct, I mis-remembered. My 30-06 is stamped "Classic". I used to have a similar 300 WSM SS Classic that was not stamped as a Classic. I no longer own the 300 WSM but confused the 2 rifles.

Also 'good to know' category.... Such term as "Classic SM SS BOSS", to define characteristics of an accessorized "Winchester" OR of a historically defined, kinky, black attired, riding crop wielding, accessorized "Service"!

Will wonders never cease! As for instance... Arising to Hotel bill "line item charge", with expense account explanation as "Thought I was just ordering up an entertaining Winchester evening!"

I’m going with not enough!

For the record, there never was an SM SS boss outside of Vegas …

Ha ha.. I believe the Classic SM was less common? I have only ran across 1, and I snagged it. That was last year:

Love the rifle. It was carried a lot, and someone loved it. It was their only rifle. I touched it up, and repainted the stock, and added a new recoil pad. It's a sweet shooter.

It's a 5 digit classic though. If the OP's was stamped "CLASSIC SM", then it should have been just like the rifle shown here:

Except for the paint job.

Yep. Five and six digit. And less common than classic stainless due to the shorter run.
